Hope everyone’s week is going well thus far. I am looking forward to the weekend but not the things I need to have done. My first big agenda this weekend is looking for a new place. Home searching has become such a hassle because I can’t find a big enough closet to accommodate all of my items. But I also can't stop purchasing. I have looked at places I love, but I am quickly turned off because of the lack of closet space. Please wish me luck.

Now to the outfit, let me tell you, I am in so in love with this trench vest. I love that it is versatile and can be dressed up or casually. Wearing the trench happened completely by accident. I was in a rush out of the house and realized I had forgotten my jacket. I ran back inside and unbeknownst to me I grabbed this trench vest instead. But I think it ended up looking pretty chic. Most of all it was a total steal at Forever 21.

I wore this outfit to a baby shower about a week ago. Now, I know what you’re thinking this is not a baby shower appropriate outfit. However, I went shopping with a couple of friends and ran some errands thinking I was going to have time to go home and change in time for my friends shower. Unfortunately, I had way too much fun at the mall and it didn’t happen. After completing my weekend shopping agenda, I headed to the shower in this semi-risqué top.

I was in target months ago shopping for household items and decided to “browse” the aisles after I finished my purchases. I came across this lovely polka dot peplum top and quickly grabbed it and held on tight to it because there was only one left. I am so crazy I thought there might have been another lunatic like me waiting to grab it. It was actually smaller than my normal size, however, I was determined to squeeze the twins in them. When I went home and tried it on, it fit perfectly, which made me one of the happiest girls in the world. I am such a girlie girl that these little things make me happy (Don’t judge me)!

I love finding unexpected items at places I would not have thought. Have you ever found gorgeous unexpected items at Target or any other stores?
