Happy Friday loves!
Hope you had a great week! I’m looking forward to attending a
birthday celebration for one of my favorite girl friends. We rarely get to see
each other because we live so far away, so the few times we get to see each
other, is always a blast.
I haven’t done a work outfit in a while, so today I’m bringing
you one. I plan on incorporating a lot of work styles in my posts this year, as
well as blogging a bit more than I did last year. A pencil skirt is an item
every working needs in her closet. Not only is it flattering on all body types,
but it’s very versatile and can be worn to work then straight to happy hour
with friends or dinner with the guy.
I do recommend first stocking up on darker colors then playing
with brighter color schemes. I stand by J Crew No2 pencil skirts; their pencil
skirt collection for work has been my favorite for years. I own several colors
in this skirt. In this post I’m wearing the pink color, which is currently sold
out. But love this option. I paired it with a crisp button down, layered it
with a sweater for warmth and a statement necklace to compliment the entire
look. I think the sweater and necklace adds a bit of fun to the outfit. Don't you think?
