Blue Stripes

Happy Monday loves!
Hope you have a great weekend. I can't believe it will officially be fall in a couple of weeks. Man how time flies. As much as I dislike summer, this summer went by a bit too fast for me.

Have a blessed and productive week!

Stripes and Solids

Pairing pink and blue for me will never get old. For me, these two colors are feminine and refreshing. For today's looked, I paired pink cotton shorts with a striped blouse. I added a blue blazer for those chilly summer nights.

Leather Panels

Leather is a timeless piece I cannot get enough of. This collarless leather panel coat was no exception. I paired it with a frill leather panel skirt I scored last year from Zara's sale.

Geometric Blues

Hi Friends!
Hope you're having a great work week. When Thursday rolls around, I know the weekend is almost here. I have a dinner date with a close friend on Saturday, super excited. It seems as if I all do is eat on the weekends. What plans do you have for the weekend?

This J Crew skirt has been a favorite of mine since it debuted over a year ago. I love the print and color of the skirt. I am currently eyeing this similar version. For this outfit, I wanted to compliment the colors  in the skirt. Therefore, I paired it with a blue and black blouse, and rolled up the sleeves for a more comfortable and relaxed look.

Blue Plaid

Hello! Hope you had a great thanksgiving weekend as well as took advantage of the black Friday and cyber Monday sales. I had an early thanksgiving dinner with my family on thursday and headed to a women's retreat from thursday night to saturday. My church usually have this retreat on thanksgiving weekend because it the only weekend where most people have an extended weekend. Although it was an inconvenience, I made the effort to attend and did not regret my decision.

I have loved plaid for years and wore it faithfully during my undergraduate years. Although it is currently trending this season, I think it is a timeless piece that I will be wearing for many more years to come. For this outfit, I wanted to play with the different shades of blue in the shirt. I paired it with a sexy yet chic pencil skirt with a side slit.

It's A Wrap

As I shamefully type this post, I won't pretend that I'm not ashamed for my lack of posts. I've been super busy from my girl's friend's wedding to other personal "adventures". However, I am back and I promise not to leave you again.

I've had this Bcbg Maxazria wrap dress in my closet for about a year and finally got the opportunity to wear it this past weekend. There is something about a wrap dress that is so feminine and flattering to a woman's body. I kept the accessories minimal because of the busy print on the dress.
