Checkered Coat

Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. The temperature was around 60 degrees this weekend, which was absolutely gorgeous compared to the 19 degrees we've had in the previous weeks. I for one cannot wait for Spring, I am ready to say goodbye to the snow and winter!

One thing I will miss about winter is the stylist outwear such as this Zara checkered coat. I chose a very casual look to accompany this coat. To focus on the coat, I threw on a simple T-Shirt and jeans. I added color with a red bag and finished with a statement necklace for boldness.

Windowpane

Hello Loves! How is your week thus far? I hope it's a productive one. It's hump day and to me that means the weekend is almost here. Any plans?

I've had my eye of this J.Crew windowpane pants when it first came out last year. Although a bit pricey, was excited when I found it on sale. I always say a sale is a sale, even if it's $1 less (side eye). I decided to pair it with a windowpane blouse for a fun print on print look.

Work In Progress

Happy New Year!
Hope you had a great New Years. I went to church as I normally do on New Year's eve. I got back in the house around 2am and slept for most of the day. I am not one of those thousands of individuals who make New Year's resolutions and break them before the end of January. However, this year I plan on working on my confidence level and drive. There are projects that I have always wanted to embark on, but because of my fear of rejection and lack of confidence, I tend to dismiss those dreams. I also plan leaving things to God rather than stressing all the time.

I have no doubt that if I work on the aforementioned, 2014 will be a great year for me. How about you?

Gray And French Lady

I have been fascinated with full/midi skirts as of late. Although these type of skirts have been in style for years, it is currently heavily trending. I'm definitely not complaining because I love it. I plan on incorporating more of this style in my fall wardrobe.

For a fun look, I paired this full scuba riverisland skirt with a french lady sweater from J Crew. How do you feel about this trend?

Simple Yet Glam

I hung out with a friend over the weekend and wanted to wear something simple yet dinner ready. I knew we would be running around before heading for a bite to eat. Therefore, I threw on something simple yet dressy enough for dinner.

Don't let the height of these shoes fool you, they are very comfortable. I paired it with my matching red Zara clutch I purchased during their recent sale, my leopard peplum top, and my white distressed jeans. You have absolutely no idea how excited I was to get my hands on these white distressed jeans from Forever 21. They fit great and the price was unbeatable. They have held on for a couple of years now.

Vintage White

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week. I am super thrilled today as today is my Friday, which means I have a four day weekend.

Nothing seems more refreshing than white. And this vintage white dress certainly did not disappoint. Not only is it comfortable and perfect for summer, but I love the femininity on the sleeves and the neckline.

I am a sucker for all things girlie and this polka dot peplum top is no different. When I first saw it, I automatically knew I would be pairing it with something red for the first spin. I paired it with this comfortable flared pants from Express. I love these pants so much I purchased them in several different colors. Definitely a closet staple.

Neon In The Work Place

::Outfit::
::
Top: H&M
Skirt: Ann Taylor
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Bag: Michael Kors
Blazer: Zara
Bracelet: J Crew

Is it just me or does the weekend seem to go by super fast while the work week is the total opposite. How great would it be if our work week consist of just Saturdays and Sundays and the weekends were Monday through Friday! Can't blame a girl for dreaming.

Oh, how I love bright colors on and off the clock! Depending on your work environment, bright colors such as neon may be a no-no. However, if paired appropriately, neon can be worn in a super conservative work environment. Fortunately my office is not too conservative so I can get away with wearing neon head to toe. However, for those working in a super conservative office, you may limit your outfit to one neon piece or simply pairing it with a solid black, white, or gray.

Wishing you a productive and fabulous week. Please don't forget to follow me HERE on bloglovin.

Love,

Priscilla
