Denim

Hello beautiful people! How was your weekend?
I was finally able to get things done around the house since arriving back from my trip last week. My house was giving me nightmares. I am such a neat freak, and it bothered me so much that I was going to take the day off on Monday to finish what I needed to do.

To me, denim is always a classic look that can be worn in so many ways. I remember having several denim items such as jean jackets, tops, and skirts growing up. I loved them then and years later, I am still in love. I played around with neutral tones by pairing it with my leopard clutch and nude sandals.

Geometric Blues

Hi Friends!
Hope you're having a great work week. When Thursday rolls around, I know the weekend is almost here. I have a dinner date with a close friend on Saturday, super excited. It seems as if I all do is eat on the weekends. What plans do you have for the weekend?

This J Crew skirt has been a favorite of mine since it debuted over a year ago. I love the print and color of the skirt. I am currently eyeing this similar version. For this outfit, I wanted to compliment the colors  in the skirt. Therefore, I paired it with a blue and black blouse, and rolled up the sleeves for a more comfortable and relaxed look.

Mint Sheer Panels

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. I survived another winter storm this weekend. Winter has clearly overstayed her visit, I don't remember the last time we had a huge storm in March. On a positive note, my office was closed on Monday due to the inclement weather. Therefore, I enjoyed an unplanned three day weekend and got the much needed rest I desperately needed.

As I slowly and impatiently await for spring, I paid this Asos organza jacquard sheer panel skirt with a cozy turtle neck. I wanted a toned down look so I paired the outfit with silver pumps to highlight the sheer panels and accessorized with a statement necklace and rings. My look was completed with a white studded clutch.

Blue Plaid

Hello! Hope you had a great thanksgiving weekend as well as took advantage of the black Friday and cyber Monday sales. I had an early thanksgiving dinner with my family on thursday and headed to a women's retreat from thursday night to saturday. My church usually have this retreat on thanksgiving weekend because it the only weekend where most people have an extended weekend. Although it was an inconvenience, I made the effort to attend and did not regret my decision.

I have loved plaid for years and wore it faithfully during my undergraduate years. Although it is currently trending this season, I think it is a timeless piece that I will be wearing for many more years to come. For this outfit, I wanted to play with the different shades of blue in the shirt. I paired it with a sexy yet chic pencil skirt with a side slit.

50's Vibe

I specifically fell in love with the print on this skirt when I first laid eyes on it. It gave me such a 1950's vibe. I wasn't sure how I wanted to style it or if I was even going to like it. I thought about returning it several times. I asked my boyfriend for his opinion, thinking he would suggest returning it. To my surprise he actually loved the skirt and convinced me to keep it.

I paired it with a simple crisp button down to tone the busy pattern down. I also added my comfy blue pumps I scored on sale at Aldo last year and accessorized with this gorgeous statement necklace from J Crew I have been dying to wear since I purchased it.

Leather + Mustard

Top: Asos
Skirt: Riverisland
Shoes: Guess
Bag: Juicy Couture
Bracelets: Nordstrom
Watch: Movado

The weather in Maryland the last couple of days has been GOR-GE-OUS! I nearly pulled out my daisy dukes and headed to the beach. Well not exactly, but the weather was beautiful. I wore this outfit last week when the weather was a bit chilly. I absolutely love leather, and this leather skirt was no different. The middle slit made me love it even more. Sexy, but not over the top. When paired the right way, it can definately be transformed to a work appropriate setting. I paired it with my favorite leopard pumps at the moment and this mustard blouse.

P.S. It was very windy that day, hence the puffy blouse.

As alway, thank you so much for stopping by.

Love,
Priscilla

Bordeaux: Unicorn Pussybow + Coated Trousers

Top: Asos
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Bag: Juicy Couture
Bracelet: J Crew
Watch: Movado

I purchased this coated pants from Zara long before the oxblood "trend" became so popular. I tend to  purchase items I love and items I know can be remixed several times. I can definitely see myself wearing these coated trousers with other items in my closet. I also plan on pairing this blouse with a pencil skirt in the near future.

Don't you love when you can remix items in your closet?

Love,
Priscilla
