Monochrome Red + Check Print

Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well.

I have been wearing a lot of peplum lately, but the truth is I've had this skirt for over a year and finally had the opportunity to wear it. I went for a monochromatic look by pairing it with a matching red blouse. I complimented my look with my Zara checkered coat, which also has touches of red in it. I completed the look with nude pumps and clutch. Funny thing is when taking these pictures, my photographer/brother told me He loved the outfit, but I looked like a devil with all the red (the nerve)!

Work In Progress

Happy New Year!
Hope you had a great New Years. I went to church as I normally do on New Year's eve. I got back in the house around 2am and slept for most of the day. I am not one of those thousands of individuals who make New Year's resolutions and break them before the end of January. However, this year I plan on working on my confidence level and drive. There are projects that I have always wanted to embark on, but because of my fear of rejection and lack of confidence, I tend to dismiss those dreams. I also plan leaving things to God rather than stressing all the time.

I have no doubt that if I work on the aforementioned, 2014 will be a great year for me. How about you?

Ketchup and Mustard

::Outfit::
::
Dress: Asos
Clutch: Asos
Shoes: Sam Edelman
Belt: Vintage

Hope you are having a great week thus far. One of my absolute favorite color combinations are
mustard /yellow and red, which reminds me so much of ketchup and mustard. Although I dislike the taste of it, I love to wear the colors. I decided to pair this dress with my favorite peep toe red pumps. I have been in  love with these shoes since I purchased them years ago and wear them every chance I get. To cinch my waist, I paired my dress with this vintage belt I found somewhere in the back of my closet.

Thank you for visiting me

xoxo
Priscilla
