Mad About Plaid

Hi friends! I hope you had a great weekend. My weekend was super busy, as I anticipated in my previous post. I finally moved into my new place and in the process of unpacking all the stuff I didn't know I accumulated throughout the years. Although I gave away several bags of clothes/shoes and other items I didn't need, I was still surprised of how many things I still have. 

My love for plaid has been apparent for years and has never changed. You'll definitely be seeing more of it in my upcoming posts. For this outfit I went for a fun date look by pairing it with a burgundy skirt and finished with leopard pumps for a modish approach.

Burgundy Blend

Fall weather is officially here (at least for now). It has been chilly for the last couple of days in Maryland. I had my trench coat on all weekend as I hopped from a friend's christening to running what seemed to be endless errands. 

As I mentioned in my previous post, I love burgundy for fall and this skirt was no exception. Not only did I gravitate to the color, but the alluring yet chic crochet design was also a win for me. I paired it with a mustard top for a bright fall look and complete with nude pumps.
