Tie-Waist Skirt and Printed Top for Work

I love playing with unique prints and styles for work; this pajama style top was a win for me. I casually wore a similar one here a couple of months ago. For today's post, I wanted to create a work style inspiration. I paired the top with a mustard tie-waist skirt which makes the prints pop. I completed with leopard pumps to give contrast to the entire look.

Weekend Comfort

Weekends for me are always about comfort. Joggers are a great way to stay stylish yet comfortable. considering that I'm a foodie and thats what I normally do on the weekends; I need something roomy to accommodate my belly. For one of my ideal weekend styles, I paired my joggers with a graphic tee and a leather jacket which adds  some edginess to the outfit. Alternatively, it can be paired with loafers or sneakers

Metallic Palm Leaf Print

I love the print and metallic detail on the skirt; which is now on sale. For a simple and clean look, I paired it with an off shoulder nude top and pumps. They both mesh well with the skirt without being over bearing. I also added a gold choker to complement the metallic details on the skirt and to accentuate my neckline.

Happy new year everyone! I hope you had a great one. I spent most of my weekend at church, wouldn't have had it any other way. Today I plan on simply relaxing and taking it easy.

I'm stepping into the new year with rich burgundy and caramel. I added a faux fur collar for a chic appeal and completed with beige pumps.
